so this is a little rant because my life is going to sUCK the following 10 days! :c I have to go stay with my aunt while like 2 rooms in my house get remodeled which doesn’t really make sense to me. And it sucks because I’m not sure if she has Internet and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t. :c ahhhh.

My “Queen of Pentacles” Tarot card interpretation, for Light Grey Art Lab’s upcoming show, “Tarot, Mystics, & the Occult”. The opening isn’t until October, but the (absolutely killer by the way) list of artists who created pieces for the deck has just been announced here. I’ll do another post when the show gets closer, too.
I won’t have prints of this piece available in my online store until after the show comes down, but they’ll be available through the gallery while the show is up!
I was really happy that I got the Queen of Pentacles, because she represents, among other things, our connection with the earth, which is something you probably can tell I’m big on. I also incorporated some of the symbolic imagery that often appears in her card, like hares, roses, a plentiful harvest, autumn, and earthy colors.
